Drone Skills
Drone skills are equivalent to hero skills for the drone. They come in 4 categories and you can level them and star them smilar to heroes You can have up to 4 presets of 4 skills, each corresponding to one squad and you can unlock them via diamond purchases.
Skill chip categories
The drone skills have 4 categories: initial, attack, interference and defense.
- Initial - applies shields to heroes at the beginning of the battle
- Attack - applies attack buffs to back row attackers (either all types or only specific tank types) and the drone itself
- Interference - applies damage buffs to back row attackers and some skills have additional tank type boosts
- Defense - applies defense buffs to entire squad or front row with some giving additional buffs for tank types
Skill chips
There are 8 skill chips per category each with varying buffs. Some target specific tank types like aircraft while others apply to all tanks.

Obtaining skill chests and chips
You obtain upgrade chips from the alliance store and they can be used to upgrade any skill. You can obtain drone skill chips from drone skill chests that are available in the store sas well as daily/weekly deals.

Upgrading/leveling skill chips
Upgrading skill chips can be done either by using the generic upgrade components or by using any skill chip. For example to level skill A you can use skill chips from skill C. Starring the skill can be accomplished by using the same skill chips to ascend the skill, giving it additional stars. This works similarly to decorations.
When clicking a skill you can execute upgrade actions
You can open any chests you have from the chest screen
When opening chests you'll see all the skill chips you've received
When you have multiple of same skill chip you can star the skill
